Ayatollah Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei, Son of martyr Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, has been chosen as the new supreme leader of Islamic Republic of Iran by the majority vote of the assembly of experts. Iran's Assembly of Experts has elected Sayyed Mujtaba Khamenei as Iran's new leader, replacing his martyred father, Sayyed Ali Khamenei.  The clerical body confirmed that the decision was reached by a decisive vote to prevent a leadership vacuum, calling on the nation and its institutions to pledge their allegiance and maintain unity around the new leadership.  The announcement comes amid continuous US-Israeli aggression against Iran that has left over 1,200 people martyred so far.
