EU to Confront US sanctions via special financial company
The European Union for preserving the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) with the agreement of Germany, France and the United Kingdom to is due set up a special-purpose financial company that by circumventing US sanctions and the routine international financial circles, it will ensure trade with Iran and Tehrans oil sales.

Exports of steel products up 5%
Iran exported over 3.107 million tons of steel products during the five-month period from March 21 to July 21, an increase of five percent from the same time span last year. Meanwhile, the country’s nine major steel companies exported 483,510 tons of steel products during the mentioned period, down 24 percent from last year’s figure, IRNA reported. The value of the country’s minerals and mining industry exports stood at $3.763 billion in the first four months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21-June 21).

EU to continue defending nuclear deal: Mogherini
The European Union will continue to defend the 2015 nuclear deal, EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini said on Tuesday. During her speech at the plenary session of the European Parliament on EU-U.S. relations, she said, “We continue and we will continue to defend the nuclear deal with Iran, the Paris agreement on climate change, and to fund the essential work of all the UN agencies, including UNRWA, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East,” the EU website reported.

Iraq seeking exemption from anti-Iran sanctions
Speaking in an interview with Al-Sabah newspaper, Abdul Hamza Hadi Aboud, Deputy Electricity Minister said there is an agreement between Iran and Iraq for importing 1200 MW power. But during the summer, three networks were disconnected and 300 MW electricity are now being exported to Iraq, he said.
